ETH gas fees are ridiculous again - any L2 alternatives?

Just tried to swap tokens on Uniswap and gas was $87 for a basic swap. This is getting ridiculous again. Any layer 2 recommendations that have good liquidity for trading but way lower fees?

optimism and arbitrum both solid choices now. plenty of liquidity, fees around $0.30-1.00 per swap, and most major defi protocols deployed there

Which one has better onramps from CEX? Dont want to pay gas to bridge from mainnet

binance and coinbase both have direct withdrawals to arbitrum now. optimism only on binance i think

base is getting popular too. backed by coinbase so easy onramp. but newer so less defi options compared to arb/op

thanks all. will try arbitrum since i use coinbase mostly. ridiculous that eth mainnet is basically unusable for normal people now
