ETH transaction stuck help pls tried everything

guys i really messed up here.. tried sending 0.4 eth to binance and set gas to 1.5 gwei cause i was being cheap. now its been stuck for like 8 hours and current gas is 4+ gwei
really need this to go through today, anyone know how to fix this without waiting forever?? metamask speed up button just fails every time

checked your tx on etherscan. 1.5 gwei way too low when network baseline is 3+ gwei. need to replace using same nonce with higher gas

penny wise pound foolish energy right here. crying over stuck transactions when you tried to save 2 bucks on gas. this exactly why retail gets rekt every cycle

go to metamask settings - advanced - enable "customize transaction nonce". then send 0 eth to yourself with same nonce but 5+ gwei gas

when you look up your tx hash on etherscan, scroll down and you'll see "nonce: XXX" in the details section

probably dumb question but why does gas price matter so much? i thought you just set it and transaction goes through

@R0b3rt gas price determines transaction priority in the mempool. Miners/validators process higher-paying transactions first. Setting gas below network rates means indefinite delays until activity decreases.
Current conditions require like 4 gwei for reasonable confirmation times. 1.5 gwei will only process during very quiet periods.

and this why everyone moving to l2s. paying 4 gwei when arb costs 0.01 gwei makes zero sense ser

@marshal yeah but binance only accepts mainnet deposits unfotunately.. @Bender found the nonce its 445, sending replacement now with 5 gwei

to say had same problme when i set gas super low. took like 15 hours to confirm naturally when sunday morning was really quiet

for future use etherscan gas tracker before sending. shows safe/standard/fast prices so you dont guess wrong on network conditions
